MUSIC AT LUNCHTIME: RNCM RECITALS

Pianists, Ho Wan and Ditlev Rindom from the Royal Northern College of Music perform in this series of solo recitals.

Ahmed’s paintings have been described as a juxtaposition between dream and reality. Figurative, abstract and semi-realistic, his recent work continues to offer vibrancy, atmosphere and colour.

THE ARABIAN NIGHTS

The classic tales of One Thousand and One Nights re-interpreted in this dance, drama and music collaboration featuring over 200 children from Chorlton primary schools and produced by staff of Chorlton High School.

GUESTRANT AT ELECTRIK WITH CHEF BETH CREEDON (WILD FOOD)

Electrik invite top chef Beth Creedon to take over their kitchen for one night only to deliver a suprise blow-out meal.

_SCAPE AND MUDDY DANS LA METRO

Experimental electronic music night featuring Rod and Norm Skip and invited artists presenting a multi-levelled sonic experience with video art. Chorlton Radiophonic Workshop perform Muddy dans la Metro and local blues musician Dave Taylor providing performances of Muddy Waters numbers, sampled and weaved into a Radiophonic performance.

Double Bill: MANCHESTER COMMUNITY CHOIR AND CHARMED VOICES

Local favorites, Manchester Community choir, will sing a selection of songs from around the world culminating in a performance for choir and audience. The Choir

will be joined tonight by Charmed Voices – two singers accompanied by a handsome double bass, with an eclectic range of songs.

A series of monologues involving very different characters from a 7-year-old girl to a 77-year-old man.
